Draw and referral terms

Founding discount

  1. The first 100 people to join the waitlist get 30% off their membership for the first four months after they start a paid membership.
  2. Places are counted in the order sign-ups reach us. One discount per person and per email address.
  3. The discount applies to the membership prices published when we open. You must take up a membership within 30 days of our opening offer to use it.

The monthly draw

  1. The promoter is Stratos Digital, 128 City Road, London, EC1V 2NX, trading as The Birdie Society.
  2. The draw is free to enter and no purchase is needed. It is open to UK residents aged 18 or over. Our staff and their families can't enter.
  3. Everyone on the waitlist at 11:59pm on the last day of a calendar month is entered once into that month's draw. The first draw closes on 30 November 2026, and the last draw closes on the last day of the month before the club opens.
  4. Each month there is one winner, picked at random within 7 days of the closing date.
  5. The prize is two free bay hours at The Birdie Society, to be used within three months of the club opening. Bookings depend on availability. There is no cash alternative and the prize can't be transferred.
  6. We'll email the winner within 7 days of the draw. If they don't reply within 14 days, we'll draw another winner.
  7. If the club does not open by 31 December 2027, we'll give each winner a £50 golf voucher instead.
  8. With the winner's consent, we may publish their first name and area. You can ask for the name of the winner by emailing info@thebirdiesociety.co.uk.

Referral reward

  1. After you join the waitlist you get a personal link. When three different people join the waitlist using your link, you earn one free bay hour, to be used within three months of the club opening.
  2. The people you refer must be real, separate people aged 18 or over who live in the UK, each with their own email address. Sign-ups from duplicate or fake email addresses don't count.
  3. The maximum is three free hours per person, which takes nine referrals.
  4. We'll confirm your free hours by email before we open. There is no cash alternative.

General

  1. We may change or end these offers if something outside our control makes it necessary. If we do, we'll update this page and won't take away a reward you have already earned.
  2. We use your details as set out in the privacy notice on our homepage. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.
